Job Description

Enterprise Account Manager – Freight Brokerage | REMOTE

Have you managed the freight account for Sysco? We want to talk to you.

100% Remote Opportunity

A growing transportation and freight brokerage company is looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Manager who understands what it takes to manage complex, high-volume freight relationships and keep major customers moving — all while working remotely.

This is not a traditional customer service role. We're looking for someone with hands-on freight brokerage/3PL account management experience , specifically someone who has managed Sysco accounts or worked directly with Sysco's transportation needs.

If you know how to manage demanding customers, solve transportation problems, work with carriers, price freight and keep shipments moving when things don't go according to plan — this could be an opportunity to take your career and earning potential to the next level without giving up the flexibility of working from home.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This is an opportunity to step into a role where your existing freight brokerage and enterprise-account experience can make an immediate impact — from wherever you work best.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Work remotely
• Own and grow a portfolio of established customer accounts
• Build long-term relationships with major shippers
• Expand your book of business
• Work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial transportation environment
• Have meaningful responsibility for customer relationships and financial results
• Pursue future career growth and leadership opportunities

What You'll Own

As an Enterprise Account Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and growing the Sysco account while serving as the primary point of contact for their transportation needs.

• Manage and grow the Sysco account
• Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day customer transportation needs
• Manage existing freight while identifying opportunities to expand the business
• Build strong, long-term relationships with key customer contacts
• Analyze customer needs and develop transportation solutions
• Quote and negotiate freight while balancing service and profitability
• Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to ensure freight is covered and delivered
• Troubleshoot problems quickly and become the person customers rely on when something goes wrong
• Manage daily shipments with a strong focus on service, accuracy and reliability
• Develop strategies to increase revenue, gross profit and customer retention
• Collaborate with teammates on pricing, capacity and account implementation strategies
• Research and identify opportunities to expand your book of business
• Track activity, opportunities and account performance through CRM/TMS systems

What We're Looking For

The most important qualification:

• Hands-on freight brokerage/3PL account management experience with Sysco specifically
• Direct experience managing Sysco accounts is a must
• 1–3+ years of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, transportation or a related environment
• Strong understanding of freight pricing, capacity and transportation operations
• Experience managing the day-to-day needs of active shipper accounts
• Experience working with TMS and/or CRM platforms
• Ability to analyze freight activity, customer needs and business opportunities
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Experience with VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and reporting is a plus

You'd Be a Great Fit If You...

• Have actual freight brokerage account-management experience
• Have managed Sysco for another brokerage
• Know that managing an enterprise account is about more than answering emails
• Can handle high-volume freight and high-expectation customers
• Know how to build relationships while protecting profitability
• Are comfortable picking up the phone and solving problems
• Can manage multiple shipments, customers and priorities without losing the details
• Understand revenue, gross profit and customer retention
• Don't wait for someone else to solve a customer problem
• Thrive in a fast-paced brokerage environment
• Take ownership of your accounts and your results
• Have the urgency and persistence required to keep freight moving
• Are self-motivated and productive while working remotely

If you've successfully managed Sysco and you're ready for a remote opportunity where your experience matters, we want to hear from you.
